Live-in Housekeeper

• Overall upkeep and presentation of a much-loved family home
• General housekeeping to a very high standard
• Cooking for family and guests (a chef is hired for larger or formal events)
• Assisting with table service
• Washing, ironing, folding and putting away of the family’s personal clothing and bedding
• Making up beds and changing bed linen as required
• Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors
• Cleaning, brushing and storing coats, boots and shoes
• Errand running
• Checking and purchasing groceries and household supplies
• Maintaining a record of expenditure
• Flower arranging
• Dog walking
• Answering the telephone and taking messages

• Experience in a similar position for a formal or UHNW household or hotel environment
• Acute attention to detail
• Real pride in their work
• Good ironing experience
• Happy to muck in with a busy family
• Able to drive (a car is available on site for use)
• UK passport holder
• Fluent English speaker
• Portuguese language skills are a bonus but not essential
