Paragon Home Healthcare are looking for a Live-in Carer for a Gentleman who has sustained spinal cord injury several years ago. He lives on his own in a beautiful house in East Sussex BN8 area. He likes to be independent and enjoys cooking in his adapted kitchen using home grown vegetables from his garden. He transfers using a banana board and has got a swimming pool where he swims every day. He enjoys companionship from his carer and he is house-proud who likes his home to be clean and tidy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities
  • Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence
  • Observe and record the client’s health status, and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required
  • Observe and record the client's health status
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living
  • Ensure the client's safety
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Notify clients of changes in medications
  • Arrange transportation for client appointments
