Job Description:

The live in carer role involves living with the client in their own home supporting them with tasks such as personal care, domestic support, outings, medications and shopping etc. on a full time or part time basis depending on what you require.

Job Responsibility:

Personal care – toileting, bathing, oral care, dressing, assisting with medication
Practical tasks – making beds, shopping, preparing meals, some domestic tasks
Emotional and social support – befriending, companionship

Requirements:

Have a genuine interest in caring for others
Previous live in care experience beneficial but not required
Be Professional, friendly, reliable, trustworthy and willing to learn
Be willing to undergo DBS check or have a valid electronic portable DBS

Nice to have:

Previous live in care experience
