Job Description:

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a lively, cheerful Live-in Carer to support a lovely lady who has a Spinal Cord Injury and is partially paralysed. The client resides independently in a well-equipped, adapted home in the Aylesbury HP19 area. This role is ideal for someone who doesn't mind traveling, as the client visits her family overseas once a year and will need the carer to accompany her. With this client, you'll be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 2-week rest period.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities
Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence
Observe and record the client’s health status, and ensure their safety and well-being
Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Maintain client confidentiality
Notify clients of changes in medications

Requirements:

Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
Driver essential – must have clean driver's licence
