Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care to provide essential support to an individual in their own home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. This role requires a blend of empathy, patience, and practical skills to ensure the well-being of those in our care.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client for any changes in condition
  • Assist with mobility, when required
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to office staff
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience is preferred
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • A valid driver's licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary
  • Flexibility live in the clients home on a rota of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
  • A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others
