Job Description:

Join Paragon Home Healthcare and make a real impact in the life of a young, active gentleman with spinal injury care needs in St Albans (AL2). This role is perfect for an empathetic and energetic carer who values privacy, connection, and an active lifestyle. You’ll provide one-on-one care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities
  • Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence
  • Observe and record the client’s health status, and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Notify clients of changes in medications

Requirements:

  • References
  • Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
  • Driver - essential, must have clean driver's licence
  • Willingness to learn, a common-sense approach and the ability to follow the client’s lead
