Job Description:

We are looking for a Live In Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy based in London, SW19 and SW7 postcode areas. Full training will be given. This job involves Live In Care, where you will work one week on and one week off with emergency sickness cover required. You will also receive 14 hours break during your week on.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meeting client's complex care needs: moving and handling
  • personal care
  • secretion and saturation management
  • use of ventilation
  • administering medication
  • accessing the community
  • maintaining the home environment
  • Supporting client at university halls of residence and family residence
  • Working day shifts and sleeping night shifts on a 2:1 basis

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Desire to care for others
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Possessing a UK full driving license (advantageous)
  • Some previous experience (advantageous)

Nice to have:

  • Possessing a UK full driving license
  • Having some previous experience
