Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry are looking for Live in Care Professionals who are passionate about caring for people in their community. Importantly, in this very specialised, but highly rewarding role, you will enable our clients to continue living in their own homes, as an alternative to a residential care home. As a Live in Care Professional, you will be living with one of our clients for *2 weeks* at a time, you may even be supporting a couple in their home – and you’ll be there to provide excellent care for extended periods of time. You are there to be a companion and to assist your client day to day, but also to help them remain independent in their own home.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with administration of medication
  • Manual handling, using equipment where required
  • Promoting health and well-being with clients, enabling them to live their life to their full potential
  • Household tasks & cleaning
  • Providing personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping
  • Assisting taking clients to social events
  • Offering our clients companionship

Requirements:

  • Previous Live In Care experience is required
  • Must already have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom
What we offer:
  • Competitive rates of £900 - £1100 per week (dependent on complexity of care needs)
  • A weekly £50 food allowance
  • Access to Blue Light Card & Blue Light Tickets
  • Ongoing training and support
  • Regular, scheduled daily and weekly breaks, where you can come and go from a clients home
  • A defined schedule of time working vs. downtime during each day
