Job Description:

Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework. We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your own private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter.

Job Responsibility:

Provide day-to-day companionship
Provide personal care
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework
Supporting an adult with a spinal cord injury in their home
Personal care
Bowel care
Assistance with household duty
Meal prep
Accessing the community

Requirements:

Experience supporting someone with a spinal cord injury
Providing bowel management
Confident, caring and friendly care professional

Nice to have:

Experience supporting someone with a spinal cord injury and providing bowel management would be advantageous
