Job Description:

Lead the operations that keep our processing plant supplied and production moving efficiently. As a Live Haul Manager, you will oversee the people, equipment, and logistics responsible for transporting birds from farms to the plant while ensuring schedules, quality standards, and operational goals are consistently met. You will work closely with growers, crew leaders, and plant teams to maintain strong communication, support safe operations, and drive continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at building strong partnerships, developing teams, and delivering reliable live haul operations that support overall production success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the operations that keep our processing plant supplied and production moving efficiently
  • Oversee the people, equipment, and logistics responsible for transporting birds from farms to the plant
  • Ensure schedules, quality standards, and operational goals are consistently met
  • Work closely with growers, crew leaders, and plant teams to maintain strong communication, support safe operations, and drive continuous improvement
  • Quality communication standards to contracted Crew Leaders so they can properly supervise their crews on proper ways of handling birds to assure quality required and control damages
  • Assure live haul is meeting schedule requirements
  • Productivity manages operations to ensure the goals and objectives for the department and company are being achieved
  • Keeping staff educated of change is necessary to improve and ensure quality for our customers
  • Work to ensure a safe workplace for associates and that they are trained to work safely
  • Train and develop associates so they will work in different jobs as needed
  • Work to have good relationships with grown out, producers and plants

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 Years related experience
  • Knowledge of Poultry, Trucking and Supervision
