Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Live Accounting Manager with strong cost accounting expertise. This role involves maintaining internal controls, supporting strategic financial initiatives, preparing monthly account reconciliations, coordinating financial tax audits, monitor and analyze account data, overseeing the month end close process, entering general ledger activities, and staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing financial health and growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies
  • Support annual budget development and periodic forecasting
  • Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Assist with audits — internal, external, and tax-related — by providing information and documentation
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights to leadership
  • Manage cash flow reporting, banking relationships, and treasury activities as needed
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff through training, performance feedback, and leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7-8 years of accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with IFRS a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • MTECH and SAP a plus
  • Solid financial analysis skill set
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of GAAP standards
  • Capacity to multitask while meeting critical deadlines
