Job Description:

Our client, a boutique commercial litigation trial firm in Downtown Los Angeles, is hiring a Litigation Secretary to support up to 5 attorneys in a fast-paced, trial-driven environment. Responsibilities include handling state and federal court filings, managing calendaring and scheduling, trial prep, formatting TOAs/TOCs, preparing expense reports, organizing documents in iManage, and occasional late-night filings during trial periods. Hybrid work schedule available after 90 days.

Job Responsibility:

Handle state and federal court filings
Manage calendaring and scheduling (hearings, depositions, etc.)
Support trial prep (up to 2x/year)
Format TOAs/TOCs in Word
Prepare expense reports
Organize documents in iManage
Occasional late-night filings & OT during trial periods

Requirements:

LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY - must be able to commute to Downtown Los Angeles
5+ years of California civil litigation experience
Must have experience in business/commercial, employment, intellectual property, or real estate litigation
Document formatting
State and federal court filings

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree
