The Litigation Secretary will provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced legal setting. Responsibilities include court filings, document preparation, and general office support, particularly during trial preparation and proceedings.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, and reports
File documents with state, federal, and appellate courts, including electronic filings
Provide litigation and administrative support to multiple attorneys
Assist with trial preparation and provide support during trial as needed
Maintain case files and manage deadlines and court calendars
Perform general administrative duties such as copying, scanning, answering phones, and responding to emails
Requirements:
2+ years of experience supporting litigation and/or appellate matters in a legal environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
