A growing carrier-side insurance litigation/coverage firm is seeking a highly organized contract-to-hire Part-Time Litigation Secretary (20 hours per week) to support its expanding caseload. This is an overflow support position driven by increased motion work and filings—not a traditional desk role—offering flexibility and long-term potential for the right candidate. Job Responsibility:
Draft, format, and finalize motions and supporting documents
Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs)
E-file in state and federal courts in compliance with court rules
Maintain and manage litigation calendaring (court deadlines, hearings, filings)
Provide general litigation support to attorneys
Assist with billing support (Clio) and document formatting (MS Office Suite)
Requirements:
5+ years of civil litigation experience
Significant experience preparing and filing motions
Knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting
