Job Description:

GEICO is seeking a detail-Oriented Claims Preparation Clerk to support Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claim processing. Deliver outstanding customer service during the insurance claims process and assist customers throughout the often-complicated medical aspects of auto insurance claims.

Job Responsibility:

  • Report BI/UM/UIM/PIP Claims to MA AIB through completing the form in the DCD (Detailed Claim Database) system for all MA claims Reviewing claim files to ensure accurate injury, treatment, and attorney information
  • Review the file in ATLAS to compile the required injury, treatment, and attorney information to be entered into the DCD
  • Review AIB database to collect AIB ID numbers for the provider and attorneys to enter into the system
  • Update any DCD that were previously completed where the claim was reopened and new information needs to be reported
  • Correct Errors from AIB error reports to reflect the correct information that should be reported
  • Review No Fault file copy request from eligible parties to determine correct information on authorization
  • Generate fee letters to send to requestors in relation to file copy request
  • Process No Fault file copy requests both internally and externally and send out files
