A law firm in Sandy Springs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join the team and support two attorneys with civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to manage multiple priorities, and have a dedicated client service approach.
Job Responsibility:
Assist attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters
Draft, proofread, and file various legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses
Organize, review, and maintain case files, pleadings, and exhibits
Perform legal research
Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents
Prepare and organize materials for depositions, hearings, and trials
Summarize depositions, transcripts, and medical records as needed
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Requirements:
Associates degree, Paralegal Certificate, or a bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
