Job Responsibility:

Trial Preparation & Support: Provide invaluable assistance in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial research and discovery to the preparation of exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
Case Management: Oversee and manage complex case files, ensuring that all documentation is meticulously organized and easily accessible throughout the litigation process
Document Drafting & Filings: Prepare, draft, and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring absolute precision and compliance with legal standards
Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and providing them with compassionate, responsive service
Discovery & Research: Assist attorneys in handling extensive discovery, gathering evidence, and conducting thorough research to support case strategies
Court Filings & Calendar Management: Ensure timely and accurate filings in both state and federal courts, and manage critical case calendars to meet deadlines and schedules

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong emphasis on plaintiff-side work
Trial experience is essential
A deep understanding of trial preparation, discovery, and court procedures
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with legal software and document management systems, and a high level of technical acumen
A commitment to delivering the highest level of client service, with a compassionate and professional demeanor
A motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and works well under pressure
Must be local to Los Angeles
ABA Paralegal Certificate is required
