Robert Half is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to support a busy legal team onsite. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is detail oriented, has litigation experience, and can adapt quickly. The role will focus on case support, document preparation, and day-to-day coordination that helps attorneys manage active matters efficiently. This role is Contract with potential for Contract to Hire.
Job Responsibility
Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, and case files to support active matters from intake through resolution
Coordinate schedules, deadlines, hearings, and other key case dates to help keep matters on track and ensure timely follow-up
Assist with drafting pleadings, briefs, and other legal materials while ensuring accuracy, formatting, and completeness
Use legal research tools and case management systems to gather information, track matter progress, and support case strategy
Manage administrative and billing-related tasks connected to legal matters, including file updates and supporting documentation
Review incoming complaints, claims, and related records, then route information appropriately for attorney action
Support attorneys with onsite litigation and family law-related case activities by handling detailed preparation and document management
Requirements
Prior experience as a paralegal in a litigation-focused legal environment
Ability to transfer litigation knowledge into a family law setting and become effective quickly in a new practice area
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and legal case management software
Experience using research and information platforms such as LexisNexis
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, priorities, and multiple deadlines in an onsite office setting
Familiarity with legal billing support, document preparation, and matter administration
Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail when handling sensitive legal information
