Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex business litigation matters. This role is responsible for managing case files, coordinating discovery, preparing legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, experience in civil litigation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
Job Responsibility
Support attorneys in all phases of business litigation matters from case inception through trial and resolution
Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence
Manage discovery, including document collection, review, production, and tracking deadlines
Assist with eDiscovery processes and maintain litigation databases
Conduct factual research, cite-checking, and background investigations
Prepare chronologies, case summaries, witness files, and exhibit binders
Coordinate court filings in state and federal courts, including e-filing
Monitor case calendars, court deadlines, and attorney schedules
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors
Support deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
Requirements
Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in business or commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of civil procedure, court rules, and litigation timelines
Experience with discovery management and eDiscovery platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
