Job Description:

Our client, a leading regional law firm located in downtown Denver, is looking for a Litigation Paralegal with 7+ years of experience to join their litigation group. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, assisting with deposition preparation, managing documents, and ensuring case deadlines are met. Expertise in civil litigation and familiarity with e-discovery programs like Relativity are required. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team and must be flexible to meet tight deadlines or overtime needs. This is a full-time position with a 1500-hour billable requirement. Job Responsibility:

Drafting pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Assisting attorneys with deposition preparation and other discovery requests
Preparing for client meetings, document productions, depositions, hearings, and trials
Routine handling of correspondence
Maintaining an electronic case management system to ensure deadlines are met
Case organization and management
Calendaring activities and deadlines

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
Expertise in civil litigation, including trial preparation and discovery
Strong knowledge of commercial and defense litigation practices
Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Familiarity with filing and managing litigation documents within court systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment

Nice to have:

Experience with Relativity and e-discovery programs, including technology-assisted review and predictive coding
Bachelor's Degree
Prior trial attendance and preparation for trial
Flexibility to work overtime and under tight deadlines
Limited travel flexibility
