Job Description:

Full-time litigation paralegal position with a leading Rocky Mountain law firm, requiring 5+ years of commercial litigation experience. The role involves case management from inception through trial, document control, discovery assistance, trial preparation, and working under attorney supervision in a hybrid downtown environment.

Job Responsibility:

Organization of case files and document control
Discovery assistance and preparation of trial exhibits
Investigating facts and preparing legal documents
Managing case documents and conducting research
Preparing court filings and e-filing in PACER and Colorado state filings
Handling case management from inception through trial
Docketing case deadlines and monitoring deadlines
Drafting routine pleadings and discovery including subpoenas
Assisting attorneys with deposition and trial preparation
Interactions with opposing counsel, experts and clients

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal with focus on litigation
Proficiency in managing discovery processes including document review and production
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and trial preparation
Familiarity with case management software and other legal tools
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
Certification as a paralegal is a plus
Experience in organization of case files, document control, discovery assistance
Preparation of trial exhibits and notebooks
Experience with PACER and Colorado state filings
E-discovery experience in Relativity or comparable software program

Nice to have:

Construction litigation experience
E-discovery experience in Relativity or comparable software program
