Job Description:

A well-established Florida litigation firm with a long-standing presence and multiple offices statewide is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with Medical Malpractice exposure. This role offers stability, flexibility, and the opportunity to work closely with a small, dedicated legal team in a supportive, low turnover environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Medical record organization and analysis
  • Discovery and document management
  • Trial and hearing preparation
  • Medical chronologies and bill summaries
  • Expert background research and coordination

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience in litigation matters
  • Prior exposure to medical malpractice cases is preferred
  • Insurance defense experience is also valued
  • Working knowledge of discovery procedures, civil litigation processes, and trial preparation activities
  • Proficiency with case management software and the ability to maintain organized electronic and physical files
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately and dependably
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with attorneys and a small legal team
  • A detail-oriented, reliable approach with the ability to follow direction and maintain confidentiality
