Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic and growing boutique law firm located in Dallas, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the firm's founder, actively contribute to its development, and help shape processes as the practice continues to expand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle both substantive legal tasks and occasional administrative duties in a small firm environment.

Job Responsibility:

Draft, review, and assist in the preparation of litigation documents and pleadings
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and filings
File documents electronically in state and federal courts as required
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and scheduling to ensure timely compliance
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic case files for easy access
Support trial preparation, including creating visual aids, models, and mockups
Oversee document management workflows to ensure accuracy and completeness
Provide administrative and secretarial assistance as needed within the firm
Assist with arbitration and federal case procedures as necessary
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes and best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in a boutique or commercial litigation setting
Comprehensive knowledge of litigation processes, deadlines, and state and federal court procedures
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and e-filing practices
Familiarity with case management software and electronic document management systems
Ability to adapt and thrive in a small, fast-growing firm environment
Desire for long-term growth with attention to detail within the firm
Comfortable working directly with the firm's founder and contributing to its expansion
