A San Francisco–based personal injury law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its civil litigation practice. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, plaintiff-side environment and is eager for long-term growth. The Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of civil litigation, with a primary focus on plaintiff-side personal injury matters. While prior personal injury experience is preferred, paralegals with experience in any civil litigation practice area are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and subpoenas
Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production
Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and settlement materials
Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines
Communicate with clients, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Conduct factual research and assist with medical records and damages documentation
Support attorneys throughout the life cycle of active litigation matters
Requirements:
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a civil litigation setting
Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and court filing requirements
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco office five days per week
Nice to have:
Personal injury and/or plaintiff-side experience preferred but not required
