Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and conducting research. If you have a strong background in litigation and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
  • Conduct research on case law and medical records to support litigation efforts
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on case progress
  • Coordinate case management activities, maintaining organized and accessible case files
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting discovery and organizing evidence
  • Utilize legal software and tools to manage case-related information efficiently
  • Organize and analyze medical records to support cases involving medical malpractice or personal injury
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and colleagues in a team-oriented environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil cases
  • Proficiency in drafting written discovery and preparing trial-related documents
  • Strong organizational skills to manage case files effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions
  • Familiarity with legal software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
  • Experience with medical record organization and analysis

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of medical malpractice
  • Previous experience in personal injury or medical malpractice law
