Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in plaintiff personal injury litigation to join our litigation division. In this role, you will serve as a File Manager, overseeing each case from the filing of the complaint through mediation. You will ensure files are on track, deadlines are met, and clients are informed, while also collaborating with attorneys and support staff to facilitate efficient case management.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the litigation file from the drafting of the complaint through to mediation
Schedule mediations, depositions, and any case-related deadlines
Foster a strong relationship with clients by maintaining regular communication
Proactively monitor and track all case-related deadlines
Work closely with several attorneys as well as other paralegals and divisions across the firm
Maintain case activity while delegating specific tasks, such as discovery, to specialized support staff

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience with specific experience managing litigation case files
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-priority cases simultaneously
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adept at working with multiple attorneys and collaborating across departments
Bachelor's degree preferred
