We are looking for a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support a busy legal team. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone with solid litigation support experience who can confidently manage filings, case documentation, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment. The role will provide direct support to two attorneys and requires strong familiarity with court procedures, legal terminology, and probate-related matters. This position is expected to run for 3-4 months and begins onsite for training before offering remote flexibility.
Job Responsibility
Prepare, submit, and track court filings electronically while ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines
Coordinate closely with court personnel, county offices, and opposing counsel to keep matters moving efficiently
Maintain organized and accurate case files, documentation, and related records throughout the litigation process
Manage calendars for hearings, deadlines, meetings, and other case-related activities for the attorneys supported
Assist with trust administration and probate-related legal work, including drafting routine documents and monitoring matter progress
Provide day-to-day litigation support to one associate and one partner by helping prioritize tasks and case needs
Monitor procedural requirements and help ensure all filings and case activity align with court expectations
Requirements
At least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a trust administration practice
Working knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court filing requirements
Experience with electronic filing systems and confidence handling deadline-sensitive submissions
Familiarity with probate, estate administration, or trust-related matters is strongly preferred
Strong file management and calendaring skills with close attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Paralegal certification is not required for this position
