Our client, a well-established and highly respected litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on high-level, complex cases in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist attorneys with all phases of complex litigation, from inception through trial
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Manage court filings in state and federal courts
Coordinate and support trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and logistics
Conduct legal research and organize case materials
Maintain case files, calendaring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with court rules
Requirements:
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (complex litigation preferred)
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
Experience with trial preparation
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong background in trial preparation
Paralegal certification or attestation is required
Proven ability to handle discovery and eDiscovery processes effectively
Familiarity with case management software and document production tools
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication abilities and a detail-oriented approach
Must not have previously represented insurance companies directly
Nice to have:
Spanish-speaking proficiency is a plus but not required
