Robert Half is partnering with a highly respected Chicago-based civil rights and employment litigation firm to hire a full-time Litigation Paralegal. Job Responsibility:
Prepare, file, and organize pleadings, motions, and other court documents
Conduct legal and factual research
draft summaries
Manage case files, document databases, and client materials
Prepare discovery requests/responses, correspondence, and exhibits
Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and schedules
Assist with depositions, trial preparation, and trial logistics
Coordinate document productions and manage exhibits
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local court rules
Provide support during mediation, arbitration, and settlement conferences
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
Strong drafting, editing, and research skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong judgment, communication skills, and professionalism
