We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. This is role is temporary to help assist the litigation department for the next 3-5 months. The ideal candidate will have strong case management skills, experience with discovery and trial preparation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is well-suited for a professional who can manage deadlines, maintain accuracy, and provide strong support across active matters.
Job Responsibility
Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial activity
Draft, revise, proofread, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
Manage case files, calendars, court deadlines, and litigation-related documentation
Coordinate discovery, including document collection, organization, review, and production
Assist with deposition preparation, witness files, hearing materials, and trial binders
Conduct factual research and help organize materials for attorney review
Communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors
Maintain document management systems and ensure case files are complete and up to date
Support eDiscovery and other litigation support processes as needed
Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items to help ensure timely case progression
Requirements
Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or paralegal certificate preferred
3-5 years of paralegal or litigation support experience preferred
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and case management practices
Experience with discovery, litigation support, and trial preparation
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with litigation, eDiscovery, compliance, and contract management practices
Ability to apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a legal setting
Strong communication and adaptability in support of evolving legal workflows
Experience supporting busy attorneys in a deadline-driven environment
