Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic personal injury law firm in Boca Raton, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative office environment, contributing to high-stakes medical malpractice cases. Job Responsibility:

Manage all aspects of case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Coordinate discovery processes such as gathering documents, preparing responses, and organizing evidence
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including creating exhibits, organizing trial binders, and participating in strategy meetings
Maintain case files and ensure accurate documentation within case management software
Conduct legal research to support case development and provide insights for litigation strategies
Communicate effectively with clients and other parties to gather necessary information and provide case updates
Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirements
Collaborate with the legal team to identify and address case needs, ensuring smooth workflow
Support attorneys in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation through administrative and legal tasks
Review medical records and summarize findings to aid in case analysis

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice
Proficiency in case management software and other legal tools
Strong knowledge of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures
Proven ability to assist with trial preparation and organize large volumes of case materials
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with personal injury law and litigation practices
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in legal documentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
