A mid-size law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 4–8+ years of experience to support a busy litigation practice. This role will handle a mix of matters including personal injury, family law, and landlord/tenant disputes. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing cases from intake through trial preparation and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage a caseload from intake through resolution across personal injury, family law, and landlord/tenant matters
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
File documents with state and county courts, including e-filing and service of process
Coordinate and manage deadlines, court calendars, and case timelines
Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties
Prepare cases for mediation, depositions, and trial, including exhibits and witness materials
Maintain organized physical and electronic case files
Assist with client intake and document collection
Requirements
4–8+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Experience in personal injury, family law, and/or landlord/tenant litigation
Strong knowledge of court procedures, filings, and deadlines
Excellent drafting and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple cases independently
Comfortable working in a mid-size firm environment with a collaborative team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar)
