Litigation Paralegal

• Support attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation
• Draft, format, and file pleadings in state and federal court
• Manage calendaring and litigation deadlines
• Assist with discovery, document review, and trial preparation
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and case files
• Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of California court rules and procedures
• Experience with e-filing in state and federal court
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• At least 2 years of defense-side civil litigation paralegal experience
• Paralegal certificate or formal attestation required
• Demonstrated ability to handle discovery tasks
• Working knowledge of trial preparation processes
• Experience using case management software
• Strong written communication skills
• Must reside in California and be available to report to the office in Mission Viejo, California if requested
