A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with insurance defense experience to join its growing team. Job Responsibility:
Support attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation
Draft, format, and file pleadings in state and federal court
Manage calendaring and litigation deadlines
Assist with discovery, document review, and trial preparation
Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and case files
Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel
Requirements:
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of California court rules and procedures
Experience with e-filing in state and federal court
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
At least 2 years of defense-side civil litigation paralegal experience
Paralegal certificate or formal attestation required
Demonstrated ability to handle discovery tasks
Working knowledge of trial preparation processes
Experience using case management software
Strong written communication skills
Must reside in California and be available to report to the office in Mission Viejo, California if requested
