Job Description:

This is a HYBRID opportunity offering 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Our client offers a 37.5-hour work week, generous PTO and pays 90% of the medical premium for the individual. This role is very subpoena heavy and involves a lot of medical record review and analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and summarize medical records for easy accessibility and reference
Liaise with expert witnesses in preparation for court proceedings
Prepare subpoenas and pleadings in compliance with legal standards
Conduct comprehensive and thorough legal research to support case preparation
Manage the production of documents ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review medical records to identify pertinent information for cases
Analyze medical records to ensure comprehensive understanding of the medical aspects of the case
Prepare pleadings in medical malpractice cases ensuring all relevant information is included

Requirements:

minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal role - preferably on the defense side
Demonstrated ability to handle subpoenas effectively
Experience in reviewing medical records is essential
Proven experience in preparing pleadings
Knowledge and experience in medical malpractice
