We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our client's in-house legal team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is well suited for a legal specialist with experience supporting civil matters and managing case activity from initial filings through trial preparation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in practice areas connected to financial disputes, including debt, bankruptcy, or real estate matters, and can contribute in a fast-paced legal environment. This is an in-office role.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate day-to-day support for civil litigation matters, keeping case files organized, current, and ready for attorney review
Prepare, file, and track court documents through electronic filing systems while ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules
Assist with discovery by gathering records, organizing evidence, drafting responses, and maintaining production logs
Support trial readiness through exhibit preparation, document management, witness materials, and scheduling assistance
Handle garnishment-related documentation and follow-up activities when applicable to active matters
Use case management software to monitor deadlines, update case activity, and maintain accurate legal records
Work closely with attorneys on matters involving financial law, including debt-related disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, and real estate issues as needed
Requirements:
At least 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a civil litigation setting
Practical experience with electronic court filing procedures and related litigation documentation
Working knowledge of discovery processes, trial preparation, and case file management
Familiarity with garnishments is strongly preferred
Experience in legal matters connected to financial law, such as debt, bankruptcy, or real estate, is a plus
Proficiency with case management software and the ability to maintain accurate matter records
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in an office-based environment
