A highly regarded, multi-office law firm with a long-standing national presence is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in a busy general litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and work on sophisticated matters in federal and state courts.
Job Responsibility:
Support attorneys across all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, trial, and arbitration
Communicate with clients and third parties to gather documentation and information
Conduct limited legal research using tools such as Lexis and PACER
Assist with case strategy support, cite checking, and Shepardizing
Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and administrative filings
Organize case files, manage timelines, and track key litigation deadlines
Analyze, review, and organize documents produced during discovery
Coordinate document production and responses to discovery requests
Assist with trial, arbitration, and deposition preparation, including trial exhibits
Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and litigation vendors
Maintain calendars and deadline reminders
Utilize litigation and document management software to support case teams
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with DocuSign and Adobe
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Nice to have:
Federal court experience
Experience with electronic document management systems (e.g., iManage)
Experience with billing/timekeeping systems (e.g., Aderant)
Experience with CaseMap, Trial Director, or similar litigation support tools
Notary preferred
Experience in billable hour environments
