The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys through all phases of complex litigation matters, with a demonstrated ability to manage large caseloads and tight deadlines. Job Responsibility:
Assist attorneys with case preparation, from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and correspondence
Coordinate and manage document production and eDiscovery processes
Perform research, organize facts, and summarize findings for attorney review
Prepare deposition and trial binders
schedule depositions and witness interviews
Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and evidence using document management systems
Liaise with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules
Requirements:
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
In-depth knowledge of state and federal court rules, civil procedures, and e-filing systems
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously
