We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is integral to supporting our attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.
Job Responsibility:
Court Filings: Prepare and electronically file legal documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
Calendaring: Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling court appearances, depositions, deadlines, and meetings
Document Drafting: Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
Trial Preparation: Assist with organizing trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials
coordinate logistics for hearings and trials
Case Management: Maintain case files, organize and manage discovery documents, and assist with document production and review
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses to gather information and provide updates
Legal Research: Conduct factual and legal research to support case strategy and filings
Requirements:
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Proficiency in e-filing systems (e.g., PACER, state court portals)
Strong knowledge of Washington State court procedures
Nice to have:
Experience preparing cases for trial, including familiarity with trial presentation software
Experience with document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance)
