Robert Half is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with litigation matters, including drafting and proofreading legal documents
Prepare and manage Tables of Authorities
Provide support for various matters including estate planning and small business transactions, ensuring documentation is precise and complete
Draft and send engagement letters to clients
Manage calendaring for deadlines and court dates
File documents in New York and Connecticut courts (knowledge of e-filing systems required)
Requirements:
Litigation experience is a MUST (minimum 3 years preferred)
Strong proofreading and document review skills
Experience with NY court filing systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proven experience in civil litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
Proficiency in e-filing procedures and court filings
Strong knowledge of compiling and organizing Table of Authorities
Familiarity with litigation calendars and case management software
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of legal processes related to wills and small business transactions
