Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys, ensuring effective case management and seamless coordination of legal processes. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in case management and legal technology tools.

Job Responsibility:

Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents, including briefs and claims
manage and organize case files using case management software to ensure all relevant information is up to date and accessible
handle billing functions and track expenses related to ongoing legal cases
maintain accurate and timely calendar management, scheduling hearings, deadlines, and client meetings
oversee claim administration tasks, ensuring all claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with legal standards
collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to facilitate clear communication and ensure case objectives are met
prepare reports and summaries for attorney review, ensuring all details are accurate and comprehensive.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a litigation paralegal in a legal or corporate setting
familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and case management systems
strong knowledge of legal processes, including briefing and claim administration
exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
experience with billing functions and maintaining accurate financial records
ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
