This role supports a busy civil litigation practice with a strong personal injury focus and the opportunity to assist on mass tort matters. You’ll work closely with an attorney who is highly active in litigation and regularly prepares cases for trial. This position is a great fit for a paralegal who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants meaningful involvement in case development and trial preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage litigation files from intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
Coordinate depositions, mediations, expert meetings, and court deadlines
Prepare trial binders, witness files, exhibit lists, and demonstratives
Provide hands-on hearing and trial support for multiple matters as need
Assist with case investigation, medical record collection, and damages documentation
Maintain accurate and timely case information in SmartAdvocate
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred (civil litigation and/or personal injury a plus)
Experience with personal injury and/or mass tort matters is a plus, but not required
