A boutique construction litigation law firm on the west coast is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys. They work on extremely complex and high dollar construction litigation matters, often involving government contracts and federal courts. This role will tackle trial cases, including calendaring and scheduling with courts, proofreading and drafting engagement letters, prepping for deposition and trial, and more.
Job Responsibility:
Calendaring and scheduling with courts
Shelling, proofreading and drafting engagement letters, client correspondence and other legal documents
Prepping for deposition and trial
Supporting with legal research and occasional billable tasks
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, ideally on commercial matters such as employment or construction litigation
Prior experience e-filing in Washington State including King County and Federal Courts (PACER)
Prior experience juggling support for multiple attorneys and handling their calendars
Prior use of case management software, MS Office and Adobe
Proven success working in a fully remote capacity
