Job Responsibility:
Drafting and formatting legal documents
Managing electronic files and document systems
Coordinating correspondence
Maintaining organized file structures
Filing court documents
Preparing materials for hearings
Liaising with internal departments such as billing
Handling general administrative duties
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within litigation
Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of Supreme Court of British Columbia rules and procedures
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
familiarity with tools such as SAP, MS Teams, Chrome River, and iManage is an asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Exceptional attention to detail with strong spelling and grammar skills
Nice to have:
