Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal is working with a prominent law firm in Downtown St. Louis that is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its collaborative litigation support team. This role provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to a group of attorneys and works closely with other team members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Overview: The Litigation Legal Assistant will play a key role in supporting litigation matters from inception through trial. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Schedule & Compensation: Standard hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, 401(k), and paid parking.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide day-to-day support to litigation attorneys and team members
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and case files
  • Perform time entry and maintain document management systems
  • Handle transcription and document revisions with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-driven environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of law firm or legal support experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • familiarity with document management systems and time entry required
  • Typing speed of 70+ WPM required
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
  • Dependable team player with a collaborative mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • some college coursework preferred
