Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for an onsite, temporary to permanent role with our client in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, during standard business hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintaining client files, electronically and paper form
  • Drafting routine and specialized correspondence to clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Managing attorneys’ calendars and travel plans
  • Filing motions, pleadings and other legal documents in state and federal courts
  • Drafting and editing legal documents and pleadings
  • Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings and trials
  • Potentially serving as part of the trial team for matters supported

Requirements

3+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in a law firm setting

  • Trial preparation: jury instructions, scheduling depos, reaching out to witnesses, binders
