Job Description:

A well-established and busy law firm in Edina, MN is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join its growing team. This is an expansion role offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the success of the firm in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
  • Prepare, format, and file legal documents, including electronic filing in state and federal courts
  • Review, organize, and summarize medical records
  • Track and manage deadlines related to court filings, discovery responses, and other case milestones
  • Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Maintain electronic and physical case files and assist with general litigation-related administrative tasks
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant or in a similar litigation support role
  • Must have experience e-filing, preferably in both state and federal courts
  • Prior experience in insurance defense, personal injury, workers’ compensation, or other civil litigation practice areas strongly preferred
  • Strong experience reviewing and summarizing medical records
  • Proficiency with legal document management and case management systems
  • Familiarity with litigation procedures, discovery processes, and court rules
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
