We are proactively connecting with seasoned Commercial Litigation Law Clerks for future opportunities within Toronto’s premier law firms. As litigation dockets surge in 2026, we view this role as a technical partnership. We are seeking professionals who can manage the full lifecycle of complex files on the Commercial List, bridging procedural mastery with high-stakes file carriage.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advanced File Carriage: Managing complex commercial files from inception through to trial and enforcement
  • Procedural Mastery: Drafting pleadings, motion records, and factums in strict accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure and CaseLines
  • Strategic Liaison: Serving as the professional bridge between counsel, clients, and court staff to manage deadlines and undertakings
  • Trial Preparation: Orchestrating trial binders, managing electronic evidence during hearings, and coordinating with expert witnesses

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5–10 years of dedicated commercial litigation experience
