Litigation Attorney

• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and trial
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
• Develop case strategy and assess exposure and risk
• Handle all aspects of pre-trial preparation

• Active membership in the California Bar
• At least 1 year of attorney experience in civil litigation
• Working knowledge of California procedural rules and substantive law
• Background in civil litigation, including motion drafting, briefing, and discovery practice
• Experience preparing for and handling depositions is preferred, but not required
