We are looking for a litigation attorney to join a growing legal team in Fort Worth, Texas, where you will handle a diverse docket of business and civil disputes. Job Responsibility
Manage commercial and civil litigation matters through each phase of the case, from initial assessment to settlement, trial, or appeal
Prepare persuasive legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and other filings, while maintaining strong attention to deadlines and accuracy
Oversee written discovery, document review, and case development activities to support effective litigation strategies
Contribute to trial readiness by assisting with witness preparation, exhibit organization, hearing preparation, and courtroom proceedings
Handle disputes involving business conflicts, contract claims, fiduciary matters, probate and trust issues, employment-related claims, and real estate or construction controversies
Support matters involving restrictive covenants, unfair competition concerns, and trade secret claims, including both prosecution and defense strategies
Work closely with senior attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to evaluate risks, recommend practical solutions, and advance client objectives
Provide legal insight that connects litigation issues to broader business considerations, such as contracts, employment concerns, and operational risk
Balance multiple active matters in a fast-paced practice while ensuring responsive communication and high-quality client service
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience practicing in business litigation, commercial litigation, or broader civil litigation
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Texas with good standing status
Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials effectively
Working knowledge of disputes involving commercial matters, employment issues, probate or fiduciary claims, or real estate litigation
Strong analytical judgment and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical case strategies
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills for handling multiple deadlines and client needs
Detail-oriented approach and long-term interest in contributing to the continued growth of a law firm practice
