Job Description

Robert Half Legal is working with a top commercial litigation firm renowned for its stellar client roster and complex casework. Our client is seeking a part-time Litigation Attorney to support its busy construction defect and real estate litigation practice. This is a fully remote contract role, requiring roughly 20 hours per week for the next six months.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle all phases of construction defect and real estate litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Draft persuasive, well-reasoned motions and court filings
  • Analyze contracts, assess risk, and provide strategic recommendations on litigation matters
  • Manage communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Coordinate with internal teams on case strategy and updates
  • Address related issues including breach of contract, professional negligence, insurance coverage, and related real estate matters

Requirements

  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 4+ years of substantive experience in construction defect and real estate litigation
  • Strong legal research and motion writing skills
